Welcome to the homepage of The CORIA Project
The Corstopitum Outreach, Research, and Information Access (CORIA) Project is a non-profit organization which is dedicated to the study of the Roman site at Corbridge, Northumberland and has the ultimate goal of publishing a definitive account of the 1906–14 Corstopitum excavations.
These web pages contain background information about those Edwardian excavations, the excavators, a tour of the area examined and some of the things found, as well as outline plans for the future work of The CORIA Project and a bibliography of published works.
